Reflection on This School Year
During the 2011-2012 school year I:
- strengthened friendship with people who were merely acquaintances.
- was a tutor.
- met a lot of awesome new people.
- grew to adore some people I thought I could never stand.
- had to say my final goodbye to an old friend and could have been more than friend.
- went on memorable road trips.
- grew more confident in my abilities.
- had many experiences that I loved, like climbing the roof of the theatre and late night exploring of the theatre.
- learned that a majority of relationship have expiration date.
- fell head over heels for someone, only to be crushed.
- had the best possible roommate ever for me.
- tried new things that many people would never dare do.
- realized saving alcohol cans and bottles really adds up.
- reevaluated my life goals and options.
- wrote one of the 10 pieces published in The Spectrum out of the 30 submitted.
- was pulled over 4 times.
- realized I am a pro at talking to cops.
- faced one of my biggest fears, and got an anxiety attack from it.
- broke a number of laws on a regular basis.
- skipped class to see fun.
- and most importantly, grew as a person.
All I can say about this school year is, “Fuck, it’s been one hell of a year.”
